Q. Can I send my press release to the entire media contacts database?

A. We absolutely do not recommend you send your release to everyone in the included media contact database. Many editors and writers may not be the right contact for your type of news. For example, if you send a business related release to sports editors, chances are they will consider this SPAM and possibly report your release as abuse. Make sure you select only relevant media contacts by using the Search options to target media near a specific city, state or zip, or keep the contact's title in mind when adding to your list. Using the previous example, if you have a sports related press release that is relevant on a national level, it is ok to do a search for all Sports editors and send your release to the entire results list.
