Q. What's the difference between version 4.0 and the Logo Design Studio software I am using right now?
|
A. Logo Design Studio 4.0 is meant as an upgrade to previous versions of our logo design software, including Logo Design Shop, Logo Design Studio, and Logo Design Studio Pro. You can use any expansion pack you have already installed with version 4.0, and any saved logo should open and work fine in the new version. Logo Design Studio 4.0 now includes hundreds of new logo templates (for a total of 1500+), image textures, taglines and slogans. We have also updated many of the original logo templates, and have now added over 100 new commercial use fonts designed by Summitsoft; these new fonts can be used for any personal and commercial/business project...something no other design software offers!

Q. Can I use logos created in Logo Design Studio 4.0 (or earlier versions) with the new Logo Design Studio Pro - Vector Edition?

A. No, the new Vector Edition of Logo Design Studio Pro is vector illustration software that Summitsoft has developed over the past three years, and uses an entirely different software engine.

Q. How do I install Logo Design Studio 4.0 if I already have an earlier version installed?
|
A. We suggest uninstalling your previous version prior to installing Logo Design Studio 4.0. Doing a normal uninstall will not remove any saved logo files you have created (these are saved in your Documents location by default) or expansion packs you may have installed.

Q. Where Do I Download my Electronic Download Order?

A. Once your order is received and your payment is processed, you will receive an email with download instructions, your username, password and CD-Key. If you have a spam blocker, make sure to add SummitsoftCorp.com to your safe list to ensure this confirmation email gets to you.

Q. Can I sell my designs to others?

A. Yes. All content included with Logo Design Studio 4.0 is royalty free and can be used to create logos and other graphics that you can then sell to others. The only restriction with our graphics is that you don't repackage any of the content to sell as your own.

A. No, we designed the software to be used easily by any amateur or expert. The 1500+ pre-designed logo templates make it simple to pick one you want, change any text to your own name, and then save and use your new logo. You can even change your logo at any time without added cost; this saves time and money from hiring a graphic designer or ad agency.

Q. How do I update Logo Design Studio Pro?

A. Open the program and go to Help>Check For Product Update. If you have an older version of our logo design software, you can only update to version 3.5.2. The upgrade version 4.0 must be purchased on this website or in a retail store. Call (402) 554-1400 to ask how you can upgrade to the new 4.0 version if you already have an older version of the software.
